About Gauri Goswami

Gauri Goswami is a law graduate from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, where she was awarded the South Asia Postgraduate Excellence Award and received both the Nottingham Advantage Award and the Nottingham Postgraduate Advantage Award in recognition of her academic and extracurricular engagement. She completed her BA LL.B. (Hons.) with First Class Honours from the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam, earning multiple subject topper awards during her studies. Gauri is soon to become a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and aspires to pursue a career at the Commercial Bar. Her visits to the Inns of Court, including Lincoln’s Inn and Gray’s Inn, have further strengthened her ambition to practise as a Commercial Barrister. Alongside her academic journey, she has remained actively engaged in professional and community initiatives, including volunteering with White Rose to support fundraising efforts for genocide prevention and working as a Library Porter at Nottingham Trent University, reflecting her commitment to advocacy, legal scholarship, and public engagement.
