About Thomas Portsmouth

Tom Portsmouth heads Enyo Law’s business intelligence unit, where he delivers actionable intelligence that informs legal strategy in high‑value, high‑risk disputes. A qualified solicitor of England & Wales, he has a strong track record in complex cross‑border investigations for corporations, financial institutions, government bodies, and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Tom’s expertise spans asset tracing, litigation support, fraud investigations, and investigative due diligence. He has worked across more than 40 countries, drawing on his native French and working knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic to lead multilingual, multi‑jurisdictional inquiries. Before joining Enyo Law, he spent seven years at a leading global investigations firm, advising clients on matters ranging from ESG risks in international supply chains to uncovering fraud in multi‑jurisdictional disputes.

His recent work includes coordinating a global asset‑tracing effort to identify and freeze assets linked to a suspected US$500 million fraud; uncovering evidence of corruption in Chinese litigation records; and analysing import‑export and shipping data to expose fraudulent invoicing schemes.

Tom graduated with distinction from McGill University, where he studied History, Economics, and Arabic, and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP University, also with distinction.
